Injunctions
- If you are being
subjected to violence, threats of violence, intimidation or harassment
from your (ex) husband/wife, (ex) partner or other family member, we can
advise you about the remedies that may be available to you.
- No one needs to put up
with domestic violence or abuse.
- A non-molestation
order (injunction) is a court order prohibiting certain
behaviour. In serious cases the Court can attach a Power of
Arrest to the order
- An occupation order is
an order governing rights to occupy the family home.
- We can advise you
about applying for court orders to protect you and any
children. Emergency orders can be sought in particular
situations.
- We will deal with your
matter swiftly and sensitively. We have connections with
local agencies and refuges if you need to be re-housed.
- We can carry out an
initial assessment as to your eligibility for public funding free of
charge. We undertake private paid work on a competitive
basis for those not eligible for public funding.
