Wills, Probate and Estate Administration
We understand that dealing with any of the above matters can be emotional and complex. Contentious Wills and Probate
Sadly, there is always the risk of a dispute arising when a person dies irrespective of whether they made a Will. Our Private Client Department aims to deal with the same in a compassionate and professional manner during these distressing times.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Our Private Client Department understands the importance of putting in place Lasting Powers of Attorney. We understand that considering the possibility of losing capacity due to health, injury or old age is a difficult thought, however, we are happy to assist with putting in place the relevant legal documents to ensure that you have the ultimate say over the powers given and the people appointed to make decisions on your behalf if you unexpectedly lose capacity.
Court of Protection
We can also assist with applications to the Court of Protection such as for a Deputyship Order if a loved one has lost capacity to deal with their own affairs and it is no longer possible to register Lasting Powers of Attorney.
At the initial consultation, we will discuss with you how we may be able to help by providing fixed fee services or simply dealing with aspects of your case, or otherwise giving you a seamless beginning to end service charged at an hourly rate. We will always aim to keep you informed as to costs and work together to deliver our services within your budget.
