Linsey Edmonds: Solicitor and Director at the firm.

Linsey was born in Swansea and studied at Cardiff University where she obtained a Joint Honours degree in Law and Sociology, followed by completing her Law Society Finals at Bristol Law School.  She completed her training with Avery Naylor qualifying as a Solicitor in June 1996 at which point she then left the practice and returned in January 2002. She specialises in Family Law with a particular specialism in divorce and relationship breakdown, financial settlements and domestic abuse.  Linsey is a member of the Advanced Family Law Panel (Domestic Violence In the Home and Financial Settlements within Divorce/Separation) and Resolution.

Joanne Taylor: Solicitor and Director at the firm.

Joanne was born and raised in Aberdare. She studied at University of Glamorgan where she obtained her law degree, followed by her Legal Practice Course at Cardiff Law School. She joined Avery Naylor in March 2001 and qualified as a solicitor in April 2003. Joanne left to work closer to her home in December 2004 but returned to the firm in April 2009. Joanne specialises in Child Care Law and is a member of the Law Society Children Panel. Joanne is a Board Member of Drugs Aid, the drug and alcohol support agency.

Lucy Jones: Solicitor and Director at the firm.

Lucy was educated in Cowbridge and obtained a law degree in 2003.  Thereafter she graduated from Cardiff Law School in 2004.  Lucy joined Avery Naylor on 29th November 2004 and qualified as a Solicitor in March 2007.  Lucy specialises in Children Act cases and is a member of the Law Society Children Panel which recognises solicitors with particular expertise in this complex field. Lucy assists with volunteering with the local Citizens Advice Bureau and is also involved with the charity Fathers Needs Families.

Sarah Jones: Solicitor and Director at the firm

Sarah was educated in Cowbridge and obtained a law degree from Exeter University in 2004.  Sarah then enrolled in Cardiff Law School to complete her Legal Practice course, graduating in 2005.  Sarah Joined Avery Naylor in June 2005 and qualified as a Solicitor specialising in Family Law in January 2008.  Sarah is a member of the Law Society Children Panel which recognises solicitors with particular expertise in this complex field. Sarah represents children as well as parents and carers in Court proceedings.

Charlotte Yau: Associate Solicitor of the firm

Charlotte was born and raised in Haverfordwest and obtained her BSc Degree from Bristol University in 2003. Charlotte went on to convert to law and completed her Legal Practice Course in Swansea University in 2007. Charlotte trained and spent 9 years at a Port Talbot practice, specialising in the area of Family Law. She deals predominantly with Children Act cases and is a member of the Law Society Children Panel which recognises solicitors with particular expertise in this complex field.

Fay Griffiths: Associate Solicitor of the firm

Fay studied at the University of Glamorgan where she obtained her law degree, followed by her Legal Practice Course. Fay completed her training in Llanelli and qualified as a Solicitor in 2000. Fay worked for many years in Merthyr Tydfil, where she specialised in Children Act cases and became a member of the Law Society Children Panel. Fay then worked in a firm in Neath for a further 6 years, before joining the practice in October 2016.

Zoe-Brown

Zoe Brown: Assistant Solicitor of the firm

Zoe was educated in Swansea and obtained a law degree from Swansea University, where she also completed the Legal Practice Course. Zoe commenced employment at Avery Naylor Ltd initially as a Legal Clerk in 2012, before commencing her Training Contract with the firm in April 2016. Zoe qualified as a Solicitor on 3rd April 2018 and deals with matrimonial and private law Children Act 1989 matters. Zoe assists with volunteering with the local Citizens Advice Bureau, One Stop Shop and the charity Both Parents Matters.
